Biophysics Platform
The Switch Laboratory established the expertise platform Molecular Biophysics Leuven, an interest platform of KULeuven-based research groups that utilise molecular biophysical techniques and instruments in their daily research.
Typically measured is protein folding, conformation and stability, as well as interactions betweens proteins, DNA and other biomolecules.
Much of the equpiment below is now incorporated in the Biophysics Expertise Unit of the VIB-KU Leuven Center for Brain and Disease Research.
The expertise unit hosts state-of-the-art equipment and a dedicated unit leader to offer expertise and training to other research groups.
